Located in The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences, Hudson College of Public Health is part of a larger healthcare system, including the state's only level 1 trauma center, level 4 NICU, and freestanding children's hospital. The OU Health Sciences campus is home to seven health professions colleges.

Our MHA and MPH students gain hands-on experience by assisting local health systems in addressing the real issues they face, working on community-based projects, and conducting qualitative and quantitative research to address pressing public health concerns in collaboration with our partners.

Research

Our students address health issues such as air quality, teen pregnancy prevention, cardiovascular disease prevention, obesity prevention, and tobacco use prevention, contribute to initiatives related to American Indian Health, and work with organizations across the state to provide training to the public health workforce.

Conferences

Hudson College students attend conferences for health professionals across the country, where they can meet industry leaders and hear from prominent voices about the latest groundbreaking research and hot topics in public health.

Service + Volunteering

Our MHA and MPH students have the opportunity to volunteer through the student-led Unity Clinic, an interdisciplinary service opportunity that connects students across the Health Schools to provide care to the community.
